Clumsy...

I couldn't resist a chance to draw a bull in a china shop. My bull looks so sweet and bashful, I think he's embarrassed that he knocked that china over. I'm not sure who you call when you a bull enters your china shop but I'm sure 911 can direct your call.

Wilderness

I confess I faked this image...

I mean it's about as far from wilderness as can be.

Oh sure the image seams wildernessy but really it's based off a picture I took at the Portland zoo of a cougar who was hiding behind a log. I threw a Mt. Hoodish mountain into the background in loving tribute to Oregon.

And I am all caught up from the last few weeks. Whew!

Confined

Sometimes elevators can feel restricting. I remember this one time I was in the elevator with a college professor of mine. He had given us this whole lecture about how if we saw him in a museum we shouldn't talk to him. He taught Art History. It was just the two of us in a elevator, not at a museum but he scared me with that speech. I was a dead panic about whether I should say hello or not make eye contact.

In the end, I decided not to say anything and as we both got off the elevator he wheeled on me and said "Hello! You're in my class you can say hello can't you?"

I froze.

And then I squeaked a hello and ran down the hallway. But I remember that elevator ride and how confined I felt in that little box.

Renewal

Yoga... for my dime dollar there is no greater renewal of body and spirit than with yoga. My sister used to say she started taking yoga classes and I joined the cult. But two and half years later I'm still going twice a week to yoga.

This is warrior one, virabhadrasana 1 as in my yoga classes they tend to use both the English and the Sanskrit. One of my favorite games is Sanskrit Simon Says, where they drop the English and see if you know your Sanskrit.

I know enough to cringe when I here certain names, even when I can't remember the asana that goes with it.

But I usually leave yoga feeling a sense of renewal.

Pioneer

When I thought pioneer I thought space, and those brave souls who first moved to Mars to start our first planetary space... wait a second that hasn't happened yet!

Well a girl can dream can't she. Here is folks pioneers in space. Good luck Jonesie!

Undone

If you want to destroy my sweater
Pull this thread as I walk away (as I walk away)
Watch me unravel I'll soon be naked
Lying on the floor, lying on the floor
I've come undone...

Okay maybe not, but I couldn't resist a chance to quote the Sweater Song by Weezer.

Not gone, forgotten or dead, I've just been sick and lazy and unmotivated. So here is the backlog for IF. They may be late but they're done. No longer undone.
