Wilderness

I confess I faked this image...

I mean it's about as far from wilderness as can be.

Oh sure the image seams wildernessy but really it's based off a picture I took at the Portland zoo of a cougar who was hiding behind a log. I threw a Mt. Hoodish mountain into the background in loving tribute to Oregon.

And I am all caught up from the last few weeks. Whew!

  1. Faking is half of what we do. :) I love the colors you used in this, and all the over lapping creates wonderful depth. Nice job!

  2. Thanks Sally! Yeah I really fake all of my drawings, it struck me a funny thing to write late last night.

  3. This is so beautiful! Really! And I liked the little pink tongue sticking out of the feline's mouth :) Seems like it just ate something tasty. Hope it wasn't a rabbit LOL

  4. Thank you! I took about a 20 pictures of this little guy, and was so excited to get one with his tongue out. Maybe he's just thinking about a rabbit! I hope ;)
