Interesting style. I like the dark lines and use of 'real' texture with the inked in work.
This is adorable! Love it!
Thanks Andrew! I've been having fun playing with this style. I also work a bit in watercolor. And thank you Vivian! I do love drawing piggies.
YAY for you, Zelda, as you come through with such a great concept..I love how you think. That is one fine swine : ) I hope she enjoys her wonderful mudbath...she looks like she is just in hogheaven! (sorry for all of the puns..couldn't help myself!). Wonderful illustration again!!
Oh how Zen! I want to be this piggy. :) This is one of my favorite pieces that you have done. Nice composition and perspective, and great details!
Thank you Shirley! I do love a good pun ;) I thought "muddy" was a great theme to work with. Thank you for your kind words and support!Thank you Sally! I tend to avoid pointing in the details when setting a scene and I'm trying to work on that. Plus I find drawing characters relaxing to be a soothing activity.
Great Zen-filled scene, Kate! The sand garden makes me think of afternoons drawing at the MFA.
Yeah I'm pretty sure I stole a few ideas from the MFA, that folding screen looks awfully familiar;)Thanks Jeff!
Ahhhh so relaxing! I like the flowers in your piggy's bath! So cute! Nice, peaceful scene Zelda :)
Thanks Loni! I feel like we've been in sync with our last few drawing!
This looks like a place I'd like to be right now! You've really captured that peaceful feeling. And I like the flowers in the mud bath, too!
Thanks Ann Marie! I love to draw the peaceful piggies. I thought A fancy spa would have fancy mud bath.
